Katia Koptsa Anastassiou, younger daughter born after Teri to Tassos and Anny of Greek Egyptian origin and descended from the isle of Leros. She was born in Athens in 1963 and has been living and working in Italy for the past 30 years. Having always loved painting she attended several private art schools.

Painting and sculpture have always guided her left and right hands and led her to a more directed and spontaneous way of expressing her inner world. Every piece of work, during the time of its creation, transforms itself and evolves. By maintaining the balance between aesthetics and emotion and by attaching special attention to the tremendous force that a non prosaic piece of work transmits…
